A. Muñoz Cabrera
Type of visit:
Visit wine cellar prior notice.
Wine Tourism Antonio Muñoz Cabrera is located in the center of the village of Moclinejo, next to the Plaza de España. It is divided into 3 rooms where you can see how the winemaking process has evolved in the Axarquía from 1927 until today. Room 1, the Museum. It is a group of small rooms where wine was made the first years of the winery, there we can find a press with 200 years old, an old winery and a room full of tools used until 1950 in the cellar. The oldest barrel of this room is engraved in 1845. Room 2, the cellar. It is the room where the wines were made in the second half of the last century, although these machines, such as the hydraulic press of waffles, still function today and are essential in the production of muscatel wines from sunny grapes. Room 3, of the press. It is the most current part of the winery, where the temperature controlled macerators and steel tanks, the laboratory and one of the breeding rooms of Zumbral are located. This room is presided over by a large 1850 press that gives it its name. From the winery we carry out wine tourism activities such as visits to the winery, to the vineyards and the paseros, wine tastings and different events related to oenology. All visits are organized a la carte depending on your needs and those of your group, do not hesitate to contact us if you want us to schedule a visit of friends, a business meeting or a wine tasting? Your visit to the winery can be complemented by hotel stays, pairing menus, folklore performances, etc.
